Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam: Namam 934: Shri Visva mata (ōṃ visvāmetrē namaḥ)

The Divine Mother is the Universal Mother. Visva means universe or all.

She created all, She is the Mother of all universal beings. We can visualize that the Divine Mother is safeguarding all beings, which is a great deed; She is praising all great deeds.

She gave birth to the whole universe. She was the root cause for the creation of the universe. She holds the universe within Her during Pralaya and nourishes it; and when recreation time comes, She releases them into the widespread universe.

Visva is also Vishnu. She is also the Mother of Vishnu. The origin of the three murtis Brahma, Vishnu and Rudra (Shiva) are all from the Divine Mother.

The Divine Mother is the universal Mother.
