The Divine Mother abides in Herself; She is free from all afflictions, (causes of pain and harm).
She is within Herself, being free from all causes of pain or harm; She is healthy, is well and not suffering from any illness. Sat-Chit-Ananda Rupini is the Divine Mother. Sun has no darkness within it. Likewise, there can be any outside issue within the Divine Mother. The souls’ goal and focus are to seek Her, the Brahman. The Brahman is not dependent upon anything. Nothing can affect the Brahman. Brahman is nothing but the Divine Mother Herself. Those who worship Her, attain Brahman themselves.
One gets disturbed with sorrow and fear; Due to disturbed state disease comes to him. One needs to be healthy for being his full self. The Divine Mother holds Sat-Chit-Ananda state. She does not get sorrow or fear within Her.
She lives in the highest place; She enjoys in Her state and pride being within
Herself. For us to stay stable, we need a base. She is within Herself as there
is no need for base.
Brahman is distinct. Brahman abides in Brahman. She is Brahman Herself. We say the Divine Mother is Svastha, abiding in Herself.
“Where does that Brahman abide? In its own majesty” says the Sruti (Chandogya Upanishad Vll.24.l). Splitting the name as sv + astha, the meaning becomes “She who has no fixed abode but extends everywhere auspiciously.”
