The Divine Mother’s lotus
face holds a sweet smile.
She with Her lotus face is smiling as ever, even in problematic environments. During fearful periods, humans inside confusions will be reflected well on their faces. Ladies during fearful times will nor have their usual smiles and cheerful exposures. But the Divine Mother never slips from Her smiling state even at troubling and difficult times. Difficulties are testing times, yet mature people would control themselves. They know too well that difficulties will give them negative results. In difficult environments, normal people are fearful. The Divine Mother is spreading all over the universe without any limit. We can disturb and dirty a small pond, but we cannot do the same to an ocean. Nobody can do any harm or even try to destroy the Divine Mother’s spreading total universe. The Devine Mother was said to have been smiling even while destroying evil like Bhandasura. People thinking of small issues are fearful of difficulties. Their faces would reflect their sorrow. Those having a happy state irrespective of win or lose results in, the Divine Mother’s ever smiling lotus face comes to them naturally.
Lotus flower inside colour will be attractive when it is blossoming. The Divine Mother’s smiling and beautiful face is like a blossoming lotus flower. Dara is small and crystal. The Divine Mother’s face above Her neck is like a crystal and blossoming lotus. When humans are worried about their difficulties, She maintains Her smiling and blossoming face. During Pralaya, when the universe goes through the final dissolution, She firmly stands as other half of Shiva, always smiling. Daram is support; while She is blessing Her devotees, She is smiling as ever.
Dara can mean fear. This Namam means ‘She who smiles even when expected to feel fear’. Brahma, and other divinities go through their fear experience during Pralaya. The Divine Mother keeps smiling even then.
Dara also means protection. When Her devotees need protection from danger, She is there with a smile on Her lotus face. Those devotees who have experienced Divine Mother’s kindness will understand and appreciate the sweetness of this Namam.
The Divine Mother’s lotus face holds a sweet smile.
