The Divine Mother abstains from actions. Naiskarmaya means actionless.
She stays in unsuccessful desires of Her devotees; She removes Karma effects for such devotees. All universal beings have desires and go through their effects. It is not possible for souls to avoid Karma effects. The devotee matures when his desires are met. If before one’s desires are fulfilled, another desire rises, all his desires cannot be met. It will be difficult to discord all such desires by him. A fire lit with wood cannot be fully managed. When one’s unsuccessful desires are removed, his internal happiness increases. The devotee realizes this truth after a long time. He still tries to stand on his incomplete desires and end up in sadness.
Viras do their things in dharmic way and do service for the Divine Mother. They are not controlled by incomplete desires. With clear mindset, they start to understand the glories of the Divine Mother. Minor to large galaxies are all parts of the universe going through stages of creation, maintaining, sustaining, Sam haram (destroying) and liberation continuously. The Divine Mother is not bound by all these changes happening in the universe. Those who understand and follow this concept become matured yogis and get the Divine Mother’s blessings. Those who stay doing nothing do not understand such concepts. Those who have many desires displaying their unwanted actions, also cannot understand such concepts. Those who do dharmic actions and surrender to the Divine Mother, realize the meanings of human birth and do good things. They will be the ones who becomes Naiskarmaya soul to reach the Divine Mother (Brahman).
The Divine Mother does not have any karma effects. Karma is made of punya and papa. She does not have any continuing karma balances like souls. When one submits to divinity to clear his karma balances, he will have his punya and papa removed to become actionless or Naiskama. The Divine Mother is reachable with such Naiskarmam. Without Her grace, the devotees will not get Naiskarmaya (actionless) mindset.
Lord Krisna’s words are recalled here: “I have nothing whatsoever to achieve in three worlds, O Partha, nor is there anything to be obtained that has not been obtained yet am engaged in action” (Gita lll.22).
The Divine Mother does everything. She expects no fruit for any of Her actions. The action done by one’s own, without desiring any fruit is called no action (akarma) in Gita. All the Divine Mother’s actions are for the good of universal beings. “Having abandoned attachment for the fruit of action. Ever content depending on no one, he does nothing at all, though he is ever engaged in actions” (Gita lV.20).
There is nothing that the Divine Mother needs to gain in this universe. There is nothing to be done. Still, She is engaged in the acts of creation, preservation and destruction and further granting the desires of Her devotees. Since all Her actions done without the expectation of fruit, they become non-actions. The Divine Mother is called actionless or Naiskarmaya.
With this Namam, we complete the tenth kala known as Bodhini ("enlightened," "awakened," or "one who knows reality".)
