In Namam 132 to 187, the Divine Mother’s Japarupam or
Formlessness will be the described.
The Divine Mother is without any pride and any tint of satisfaction
derived from all Her achievements.
Mada means pride or stubborn mindedness that hinders the attainment
of moksha or salvation.
If someone’s desire is fulfilled, his pride blossoms further. He
thinks that he had achieved what other could not. And, his pride increases to a
point that he would then think that he is great. He will then start to show it through
his behavior.
Beauty, youth, power and wealth are sources of pride in an
individual. If all of these are combined in a person, then they will manifest the
highest of pride in him. Such prides are temporary, not permanent attributes of
humans.
The Divine Mother in spite of Her unquestionable supremacy in
all of these attributes does not have any (trace even) of pride.
She removes such negative attributes in Her devotees. She is the
Mother of this whole universe and She glows, much more than the Sun. She is the
Supreme Self and does not make any differentiation. She is the servant of
servants. Yet She is without any pride.
Therefore, She is Nir Mada.
