In Namam 132 to 187, the Divine Mother’s Japarupam or
Formlessness will be the described.
The Divine Mother does not depend on anything in this universe.
Everybody reach for help from the Divine Mother, at their
troubled times. She does not need to go to anybody, as She handles Her needs by
Herself. She is the foundation of this whole universe.
Dependence is a condition called upadhi. The soul’s upadhi goes
from devotee’s mind to his body. When the soul is following the body attributes
the issues like I am fat and I am lean arise. And, when the same soul is
following the sense organs the issues like I am deaf and I am blind arise. When
the soul is conditioned by the mind, the issues like I wish and I imagine arise.
All these conditions are bound by worldly bondages.
Asarayam can mean - a place of residence or a staying place or even
acceptance. For example when we colour a cloth, the cloth is Asaraya for the
colour. The Divine Mother is not Asaraya for anything in this universe.
When we see our reflection in a mirror, we think that the mirror
is the Asrayam for our image. But, the mirror does not hold our image within
it. Likewise the Divine Mother is not Asaraya for the universal things.
She is also not depending on universal things. The whole
universe is dependent on Her but She is not dependent on any universal things.
So She is Nirasaraya herself.
