Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam: Namam 145: Shri Nirvikara (OM nirvikArAyai namaH)

In Namam 132 to 187, the Divine Mother’s Japarupam or Formlessness will be the described.

The Divine Mother is unchanging.

Vikara is changing action. The Divine Mother creates this universe. The root cause does not go through any change. But the effect, the universe, does keep changing.

When someone’s mind is clear or disturbed, such feelings are reflected in his face. This is part of vikara.

The Divine Mother is always in Her true Self. Her nature is Nirvikara. There are no changes happening to Her.

The Bhakta or devotee when reaches the Supreme Self, attains to this unchanging state. This will be similar to the Divine Mother and Lord Siva.
