Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam: Namam 142: Shri Niskama (OM niShkAmAyai namaH)

In Namam 132 to 187, the Divine Mother’s Japarupam or Formlessness will be the described.

The Divine Mother is without any desire or Kama.

The devotee will have desire for any new thing which he does not have.

The Divine Mother has all the things of the universe. She does not need to compare her holdings with anyone else. Deciding upon her intention or need, She can realize anything by her heart and mind. All the auspicious things and their fruits are contained within Her. There is no need for Her to have any desire.

If any devotee reaches the Supreme Self, he need not have desire as he will be in eternal state like the Divine Mother. As such there will be no desire for the devotee at Supreme Self state which is same as the Divine Mother.
