Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam: Namam 152: Shri Niskarana (OM niShkAraNAyai namaH)

In Namam 132 to 187, the Divine Mother’s Japarupam or Formlessness will be the described.

The Divine Mother is without any cause.

She is the root cause of everything in this universe. Here the cause is eternal and the effects are transient in nature. She is the Universal Mother controlling and being the cause of everything. So She does not need a cause for her existence. This is due to Her total control of the universe. All other universal things are the effects.

Flower is the cause. The plant from which it flourished is the base. The sea waves are the effect while the sea and the wind are the cause. So we can separate the cause and effect for any normal thing. But the Divine Mother is the ultimate and infinite in Her existence. She is the cause and the effect also.

She is Niskarana without any cause to prove Her existence.
