In Namam 132 to 187, the Divine Mother’s Japarupam or
Formlessness will be the described.
The Divine Mother is beyond Tri-Gunas, the three attributes or
modes of existence.
The three attributes are Sattva, Rajas and Tamas. Sattva is the
purity and wisdom; Rajas is passion and action and Tamas is inertia and destruction.
The Divine Mother is not tied to the objects of five senses; the
senses of sound, sight, taste, touch and smell (Sabda-Sparsa-Rupa-Rasa-Gandha).
She is beyond all of them.
Brahmam as the Divine Mother is not the following negations:
demon, human, animal, male, female, living creature, quality, karma, presence
and absence. She is above all these negations.
She is infinite and hence, cannot be enhanced. There is no
duality in Her.
The aspects of love and affection of the Divine Mother are not Her
attributes. They are Her inherent kind nature.
In this Universe, the Divine Mother is considered Sakti. The
Brahmam (Lord Siva) is viewed as Nirguna. But in unison, the Divine mother and
Siva are one.
Since She is beyond all Gunas or attributes, She is Nirguna.
