The Divine Mother of whom Kama (Lord Shiva) is a part in Kailasa in their unison.
Lord Shiva is fond of the Divine Mother. Heat cannot be separated from fire. Likewise, Shakti cannot be separated from Lord Shiva Shakti-Shiva and Brahman are all mean the same. In Para-Shakti’s and Lord Shiva’s forms, the Divine Mother is the one acting is the learning from this Namam “Kamakotika”.
Kama refers to Lord Shiva as Kamesawaran. The Divine Mother is half with Lord Shiva in Ardhanariswara. In unison both Lord Shiva and the Divine Mother are one and the same. She resides in Kamakoti Peetam. Kamam is the third Purushasartha’s limit and She is in there as in Brahman.
Shiva’s nature encompasses only a part of the Divine Mother.
As said before, Lord Shiva is Ardhanariswara (half male, half female God). This
Namam is meant to indicate that the Divine Mother’s immeasurable greatness. Any
Kama or anything desired is only a small part of the Divine Mother.
