Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam: Namam 581: Shri Daya Murtihi (ōṃ dayāmūrtyai namaḥ)

The Divine Mother is the personification of Compassion.

The Divine Mother has all the motherly love. Those who assist the universal beings to grow are called Daya murtis and those who oppose the universal beings’ growth are termed as evil murtis. In the universal nature, there are many areas helping the growth of universal beings and there are many others blocking the growth. Whatever body any soul takes, it is for attaining or achievement enlightenment. All beings have various means of safeguarding themselves. All such safeguards come from the Divine Mother. The Divine Mother is the kind and generous compassionate mother providing for all beings in this universe.

The Divine Mother as Annapoorna providing for all.
