In Namams 91 to 111, we will be seeing the Divine Mother’s
subtle Mantra- Rupam.
The Divine Mother attributes importance to Samaya form of
worship.
The ancient Rudrayamala text describes Samayachakra in ten
chapters. This is a worshipping method or Sadhana performed by the devotee with
Guru’s guidance for awakening the Kundalini. The Kundalini rises from its base
Muladhara. It goes through five chakras namely svadhisthana, manipuraka,
anahata, visudhi and ajna to reach thousand petaled lotuses Sahasrara where
Lord Sadasiva is seated in curtained pleasure chamber. The Kundalini reaches
Lord Sadasiva and returns to Muladhara.
Samayachakra has many steps to be followed with the Guru’s
instructions and supervision. This Namam implies that the Divine Mother values
this form of Sadhana.
Even if the food is not cooked well, a hungry human has to eat
the same to make a living. Cooking can be improved. Likewise Samaya prayers
with proper Guru’ guidance are important for the devotee to get liberation.
Otherwise the devotee would not have understood the Samaya prayers correctly.
He would have to analyze
and improve his understanding to be eagerly engaged in the
Divine Mother’s prayers. Tatpara is getting eagerly engaged or deeply engrossed
in the Divine Mother’s prayers. Like a mother is keen to feed her children, the
Divine Mother is keen to see the progress of Her devotees towards salvation.
The devotee is to stick to the stipulated Samaya prayer procedures.
