Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam: Namam 560: Shri Dadimi kusuma prabha (ōṃ dāḍimīkusumaprabhāyai namaḥ )

The Divine Mother shines like a pomegranate flower in red colour. 

The Divine Mother is beautiful as pomegranate flower. Those who see the nature’s beauty are seeing the Divine Mother ‘s presence in there. Not all have the chance to see the beauty in everything or being in the universe. Those who offer pomegranate flower to worship Her are praising the beauty of the Divine Mother. 

Pomegranate tree sometimes flowers and gives fruit. Some trees only give flowers; those flowers are more beautiful than the trees with flowers and fruit. Such beautiful pomegranate flowers are best offered for the Divine Mother’s pooja; She has similar reddish colour as pomegranate flower. She also has tambula in Her mouth and reddish in colour. When the desire is in excess which is not expressed out, the human body will turn red. the Divine Mother is attracted by Lord Shiva and She aids in His dances, Her figure turns red. 

The colour of pomegranate flower is a particular shade of red which is especially beautiful. In short, the Divine Mother’s complexions extraordinarily attractive.

The  Divine Mother is reddish in colour, like a pomegranate flower.
