Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam: Namam 504 Shri Svadhisthanambuja gata (ōṃ svādhiṣṭānāmbujagatāyai namaḥ)

In Namams 475 to 534 represents the Divine Mother’s Yogini forms.

The Divine Mother as Kakini yogin is residing in the Svadhishtana chakra in six-petaled lotus.

Svadhisthana chakra is between navel and Muladhara (situated in our reproductive organ); in that chakra She is having six-petaled lotus. The Sanskrit alphabets Ba, Bha, Ma, Ya, Ra, and La. belong to this chakra.

In meditation: “We meditate upon Kakini Devi, who resides in six-petaled Svadhisthana lotus, four-faced, bearing in Her four-hands the trident, the noose, the skull and the abhaya mudra. She is ever proud. She is, presiding over the lymph (fat) in the bodies of living beings. She is attended by Bandini, BhadrakALi, MahAmAyA, Yashasvini, Rakta and LambhoshTi. She is light yellow in complexion. She is fond of honey and of food mixed with curd. She is the giver of desires.”

The meditation verse literally says “Veda-faced” implying Her four faces are representing the four Vedas, namely Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharvana..The four faces of the devi also represents the four senses of agni, the Svadhisthana chakra represents agni thattva.

In Soundarya Lahari verse 39, Adi Sharara  explanins the Svadhishtana chakra in greater deyails, which ar included in reference No: 4.

The meaning in English:

O Mother! Having stationed the fire element in your Swa-adhishthana chakra, I praise

uninterruptedly that fire of dissolution (Siva as Rudra) and that annihilator called the

Great Samayaa (Time). O! See, the very sight of Rudra (the fire) impelled by great anger

of Him, burns the worlds, while that cool looks of yours filled with empathy and

compassion comfort the world as a cooling remedy.39
