In Namams 475 to 534 represents the Divine Mother’s Yogini forms.
The Divine Mother as Lakini yogin is residing in the Manipuraka chakra in ten-petaled lotus. She is red in complexion.
There are three basic colours in this universe. Peace and knowledge are represented in white; it has satva guna. Red colour represents the power; it has rajo guna. Black represents sleepiness; it has tamo guna. When the white colour splits, the seven colours come out, the red being the leading colour. The Divine Mother has reddish complexion. We can understand the state of anything from its skills displayed. Good plants have green colour appearance. Well grown universal beings have blood in their whole body. Having full blood is a key for life tattva.
By studying someone’s blood content, his disease can be determined and cured. With Kamam and krodam, the person suffers impurity in his blood. With divine thinking, the blood gets purified, and the disease gets cured.
By meditating on red coloured the Divine
mother, the devotee gets more shakti. So, people use reddish kunkumam on their
foreheads to represent the Divine Mother’s reddish complexion.
