The Divine Mother’s worship requires unity and purity in thought, words and action. The body, mind and intellect need to be pure and unison (Tri-krama Shruthi). Our five senses will drift as well as our mind. Those who cannot control their mind and their five senses become slave to their own five senses. They may not use their life purposefully. Although physically they are human, they do not live as real humans. Such people will not worship the Divine Mother properly. Even if they try to worship due to some temptations, they will have difficulties. Such people need to learn humility to move to a higher level. Then only they can have easier worshipping of the Divine Mother.
Those who cannot control their mind and five senses are not eligible to reach the Divine Mother easily. Those with wavering minds cannot satisfy the Divine Mother. She is full of everything within Herself. She does not have any desire to have anything more. So, She is not easily satisfied with the things offered to Her. When devotees offer to Divine Mother their purity of mind, love and affection and kindness, She gladly accepts them.
Devotion should be constant and solid. It is such worship that bears fruit of maturing towards Brahman. Only unconditional and sincere devotion will become steadfast. The Divine Mother is hard to be worshipped by those who are fickle minded. Devotion arising from temptations will be wavering and fruitless.
In Soundariya Lahari (slogam 1) Adi Sharara says that the Divine Mother is worshipped by Brahma, Vishnu Shiva and all other devatas. Only those who have some punya will even be able to worship Her.
The Divine Mother is difficult to
worship for some lower-level people .
