The Divine Mother has three eyes.
The Sun, Moon and Fire are three eyes of the Divine Mother. She is called Tryambaka.
Tryambaka also means “the mother of three”. So, the Divine Mother, the Parasakthi, is Mother of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.
When the light from the Divine Mother’s three eyes is not there, the human’s eyes become inactive. For our eyes to function well, the brightness of the Divine Mother’s is needed.
Ambakam is the eye; The Divine Mother’s eyes have three bright mandalas with them. The Sun is the right eye, Moon is the left eye, and Fire is the forehead eye. The Divine Mother provides energy to all three eyes. With the right eye in the day, with the left eye the night, and the forehead eye two Sandhya periods are covered. With the Sun eye, She gives brightness; with Moon eye, She gives coolness; and with the fire eye, She destroys the evil.
Amba is the Divine Mother of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. She is Subhaga, the Tryambaka.
The Divine Mother with Her three eyes
gives light to the universe.
