Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam: Namam 155: Shri Nirisvara (OM nirIshvarAyai namaH)

In Namam 132 to 187, the Divine Mother’s Japarupam or Formlessness will be the described.

The Divine Mother has no supervisor or controller no body above Her.

Nirisvara here means, without somebody above. The Divine Mother is the protector and supervisor of everything in this universe.

There is no one to control Her. She is the Supreme Mother. Even the Lord Shiva can act only on getting consultation from Her. Lord Shiva and the Divine Mother are one and the same, due to their unison.

So there is nobody above her overlooking her actions. There is nothing above Her. She is the ultimate and infinite.

She is Nirisvara.
