From Namam 112 to 131, we will see
the devotion aspects in the Divine Mother worship
The Divine Mother by nature is peaceful.
She forgives all the faults of Her devotees. She does not have
any grudge or agitation. She has plenty of kindness which She gives out lavishly.
Her aim is peace and welfare of creatures in the universe. She
will not allow anything against Her aim or wish. This may be the reason that
She destroyed Bhandasura to save the celestial beings from his actions against
them.
Having mental agitation is human nature. There is peace or Santhi
when these agitations are at a low in human.
In any religious Hindu rites, Om Santhi is repeated thrice, for the
blessing of threefold peace; peace at physical, mental and spiritual levels.
A mother is calm and takes care of the child whenever her child
makes mistakes. In the same manner, the Divine Mother shows the kindness to Her
devotees, bestowing peace on them.
She is Santimati needing only peace and is not eager for
anything else.
