From Namam 112 to 131, we will see
the devotion aspects in the Divine Mother worship
Sarva is another name for Lord Shiva. The Divine Mother is the spouse
of Sarva.
We saw Lord Siva’s eight forms (Ashta Murthy) in Namam 112 “ Bhavani”.
In his earthly form Lord Shiva is known as Sarva.
Sages who have learned all the sastras call the Lord Shiva, who
is the foundation or essence of the earth. In this form His consort is known as
Sukesi.
Angaraka is the son of earth
(Mars or Mangala or Kuja). Kuja means the son of earth (Ku is earth). There is
an astronomical belief that Mars had broke off from the earth thousands of years
ago. Separately, it is possible for Pandits to judge that individual’s success related
matters on earth, marriage issues and being in uniformed services such as in
defense and police units, could depend upon, the strength of Mars’ influence in
one’s astrological chart.
All such earth related benefits for the devotees, are coming
from the Divine Mother.
