In Namams 91 to 111, we will be seeing the Divine Mother’s
subtle Mantra- Rupam.
The Divine Mother has the ultimate strength and power.
She likes the devotion to Her. Further She likes very much
someone’s devotion to Her husband Lord Siva because of Her unison with Him. She
has great amount of love for Him.
She resides at Sahasrara in unison with Lord Siva. She is attached
to Him totally. All celestial beings worship Her with great joy. Her sakti or
power is felt all over the universe.
This Namam can also be interpreted to mean that she is fond of
light or luster.
Another meaning is that She has great love for everyone
including enemies, friends, righteous and other people. The devotees who have
experienced the Divine Mother’s nectar of love can easily understand this
meaning. Her love overflows the entire universe.
For a mother all children are equal and love them. So also for the Universal Mother, the Devi, all creations are her and love them equally.. She laid down basic principles of good life.
Many lived accordingly and benefitted including attaining Moksha/liberation from the cycle of birth and death.
In spite of seeing that good people are well off , still some do not follow the laid down path due to their ignorance or arrogance and have to suffer for that.
Close meaning of words:
Maha is festival
Asakti is
involvement.
