Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam: Namam 621: Shri Divya vigraha (ōṃ divyavigrahāyai namaḥ

The Goddess Divine Mother has a divine body.

The Divine Mother has a beautiful structure or body form. If we observe every one of Her forms, there is immense beauty in each one of them. When a body form is of such high-quality beauty, it is called Vigraham.

Identified asuras originated through the Divine Mother’s creation process. The humans gain strength to fight out evil motives of asuras through the Divine Mother’s graces. They become used to good things and lifestyles; such ability to fight the evil is all available naturally in the universe due to the Divine Mother’s actions; She is rightly called ‘Divya Vigraha’

The Divine Mother has beautiful form. Vigraha can mean the body also. Her vigraha has beauty and divinity. Vigraha can mean fighting also and Divya means the sky, thereby indicating that She fought in the sky without touching the ground to defeat the asuras.

In Markandeya Purana the Divine Mother is described as fighting and destroying the asuras in the sky. The demons, who had magical powers, were experts in fighting in the sky. In order to destroy them, the Divine Mother also took to the sky and fought without any support. Thus She came to be known as ‘Divya Vigraha’ as interpreted in this Namam.

The Divine Mother has divine body.
