Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam: Namam 869: Shri Ksipra prasadini (ōṃ kṣipraprasādinyai namaḥ)

The Divine Mother is pleased quickly.

She grants blessings and Salvation or Liberation quickly with motherly kindness, compared to other deities. For example, if we have a room locked for a long time with complete darkness and later, if we opened the room with a lighted lamp, the darkness is gone immediately. Getting the Divine Mother’s grace and kindness is equal to such removal of darkness. When a devotee matures, he becomes eligible to get the Divine Mother’s blessings. Long or short time frame is one’s imagination. The Divine Mother Granting Liberation to a devotee can happen in a split second or it can happen after many births and deaths for him.

There was a person living in dharma way and he was sleeping. In his dream, he saw all his Pooja materials have been taken away by the thieves; he goes to court and recovers his Pooja materials. For many years there was no rain which disturbed his prayers. Then the people who do not believe in God argue with him; he gets a long-term disease affecting his health. After that with association with good people, his soul matures. Like this within half an hour, he goes through good and bad in his dream while still sleeping. When he wakes up, he gets a spark to get the Divine Mother’s blessings. He realizes that long or short term is just his mindset. This Nama tells us that a devotee can get Salvation through worshipping the Divine Mother which can happen quickly.

Prasad it means that the Divine Mother with a clear mind does not get angry to consider the earlier happenings of mistakes by the devotees. She is getting satisfaction in helping devotees to get happiness. All these are Her grace and blessings to Her devotees. As she is Mugdha (earlier Nama 868), She gets happiness quickly and shows Her kindness to Her devotees. She never finds faults with Her devotees like a biological mother to her own children. The Divine Mother Grants Salvation quickly.

A mother gets joy by the sweet prattle (a talk at length in a foolish or inconsequential way) and playful gestures of her children. Likewise, the Divine Mother is pleased by even a small offering of untainted devotion.

By worshipping other deities, one gets Salvation gradually, but by worshipping the Shiva or His spouse Uma, who is the Divine Mother, one is liberated in the present birth itself, says Saura Purana. The Shiva Purana adds, “Even one who has a little faith will not have to get through a mother’s womb with the Divine Mother’s grace and blessings”.

Prayers, oblations, and worship performed even without regularity in this birth will lead to Salvation or at least in next birth,” says the Tantra raja.

The Divine Mother is pleased quickly.
