Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam: Namam 867: Shri Ksaya vinirmukta (ōṃ kṣayavinirmuktāyai namaḥ)

The Divine Mother is free from any decay.

She has no death or end; there is no question of decay in Her. When we analysis the nature we can see that it has no ending. On a hot rock, if we drop some water, it vaporizes and disappears. It is not lost, but it is in steam form moving up to cloud and come down to earth as rain. It had appeared as water, which we can see. Later it turns as stream. This cannot be not clearly seen. So, it can change one form to another. This fact is applicable to all beings in the universe. They have appearance to be seen by others. Later they disappear and yet they are not fully destroyed. The Divine Mother is the universe and Brahman, is in appearing and disappearing forms. Truthfully, She, is as ever Self or Brahman. This aspect is applicable to souls also. Appearance, growth, decay, and disappearance are applicable to beings with names. Souls can seek salvage or no death from the Divine Mother. If the devotee does not focus on his body or appearance and learn to focus only on Self or soul, he starts to understand the Ultimate Brahman state.

The Divine Mother is beyond an end or death. Anything that is born has an end, Since the Divine Mother is not born, there is no end to Her. Likewise, anyone surrendering to the Divine Mother, gets no end or salvation.

Ksaya can mean a house. Those who surrender to the Divine Mother, will not go to a forest but they go to an ultimate Home, Brahman. There they get all the happiness or Liberation from Samsara cycle with the Divine Mother’s grace and blessings. In current life by physically staying at home to enjoy life, humans will go through decay. Such a home is Ksaya. The Divine Mother’s blessed ultimate Home, Brahman does not give such decay to the devotees on merging with it.

Since the Divine Mother is not born, She, has no decay (Ksaya) and death. Bhaskararaya explained that the Divine Mother saves those householders who worship Her in their homes from worldly sorrows. A person who is fond of his home will leave it only when he finds another abode which is more pleasing. In place of this perishable body, the Divine Mother confers the permanent state of Liberation and this makes Her devotees eternal.

The Divine Mother is free from any decay.
