In Namams 275 to365, the Divine Mother’s many forms providing benefits to Her devotees in great details are discussed.
The Divine Mother is the embodiment of perfection or the store house in all arts in this universe.
Kala means part of Moon; a crescent Moon, which the Divine Mother wears in Her crown together with Lord Shiva. The sixty-four forms of arts are all part of the Divine Mother’s limb.
Kala is a mark that makes one to be beautiful and skillful. Kala in various forms is within all universal living creatures. Tortoise is not beautiful; but in self defense, it scores high marks. With the Divine Mother’s help, the humans are practicing the kala to their highest degree.
Namam 236, “Catuh shasti kalamayi” also describes the Divine Mother as the embodiment of sixty-four fine arts. So the Divine Mother is called the store house of arts or Kalavati.
