Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam: Namam 324: Shri Kalyani (OM kalyANyai namaH)

In Namams 275 to365, the Divine Mother’s many forms providing benefits to Her devotees in great details are discussed.

The Divine Mother showers auspiciousness upon Her devotees.

Kalya means saying auspicious words; Kalyani is that the Divine Mother is saying auspicious words always. Kalyanam is a set of auspicious activities, like marriage.

The Divine Mother is auspicious always. For those desiring comfort, there are many places to go for happiness in this universe. All living creatures in this universe are facing various constrain, objections and seasons; yet they have happiness and comfort at their own levels. Without happiness and satisfaction, the life is not interesting for the universal creatures. There is no difference between happiness and the Divine Mother, since She is constantly giving out auspiciousness to Her devotees.

The devotees who have the Divine Mother within them speak only auspicious words. The Divine Mother chooses to live in such auspicious speaking people.

The Divine Mother always has auspiciousness.
