In Namams 275 to365, the Divine Mother’s many forms providing benefits to Her devotees
in great details are discussed.
The Divine Mother is Infinite and therefore free from any form of growth and or decay.
The embodied soul (Kshstrajna) and human body (Kshetram) go through growth and weakening due to Maya effect. The Divine Mother who supports the soul does not have any growth and or weakening in Herself; there are no Maya effect on Her. The Divine Mother’s form is very vast and much bigger than many oceans. She is beyond all such defects of growth and decay Herself. All these defects are for embodied souls and other universal beings. The Divine Mother has grace for Her devotees which is eternal without any decay or growth.
The Divine Mother is in both Kshetra and Kshetrajna forms. There is no harm done to the sky with its immense size even if can be contained in a small vessel or environment; likewise the fragrances mixing with the sky do not make the sky to smell differently; when the clouds are moving fast, there is no change to the sky. The Divine Mother with Her immense size and many forms does not go through any decay or growth even when mixed with anything. She is always infinite; She cannot be contained in a certain structure. There is no differentiation in big or small for Her. She always does not have any decay or growth with Her eternal Supreme Status as Brahman.
There are six forms of change for all universal beings, namely: birth, existence, growth, transformation, decay and death. The Divine Mother is not affected by any of these six changes or forms. Gita explains in details:”Him weapons cut not; Him fire burn not; Him water wet not and Him wind dries not. He cannot be cut, nor burnt, nor wetted and nor dried up. He is ever lasting, all-pervading and eternal.” Gita (ll.23-24)
The Divine Mother is Paramatman; eternal and therefore has no
growth and decay. As Brhadaranyaka Upanisad (lV.4.22) details, this is the
glory of the Knower of Brahman. He does not grow or weaken due to any of his
actions; She is the Ultimate Infinite rupa with no growth or decay.
