Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam: Namam 786: Shri Mantrini nyasta rajya dhuh (ōṃ mantriṇīnyastarājyadhure namaḥ)

The Divine Mother has entrusted Her regal governing responsibilities/duties to Her Mantrini (minister), Shyamala Devi.

The Divine Mother is ruling the entire universe; next to Her, is Her Mantrini. The Divine Mother assigns Her regal duties to Her assistant, Mantrini, Shyamala Devi, to govern the universe with all the confidential actions.

Mantrini Shyamala Devi also helps faithful devotees or the Divine Mother’s worshippers, to achieve their desires.

It is like the Divine Mother entrusting Her worshipping responsibilities to Her devotees themselves, in using Her mantras with faith and devotion. Here the regal responsibility is the secret of Sadhana that brings the worshippers closer to the Divine Mother.

The Shakti or force that instills the desire in worshippers to unite with the Divine Mother is called Mantrini. This force is equanimity, which is an indispensable quality of governing. Thus, the Divine Mother is the one who remains free by passing on Her duties of governance to Her ministers; and the desires of worshipping the Divine Mother to Her devotees themselves, who possess the required evenness of mind.

The Divine Mother has entrusted Her regal responsibilities

to Her Mantrini (minister), Shyamala Devi.
