In Namams 275 to365, the Divine Mother’s many forms providing benefits to Her devotees in great details are discussed.
The Divine Mother is the ruler of the universe.
The Divine Mother is the protector of all fourteen worlds (Bhuvana). They are namely: earth, six above earth and seven below earth. The Divine Mother is ruling and controlling all these fourteen worlds. In Namam 281, we saw that the Divine Mother creates and dissolves very many galaxies and worlds as part of this universe with opening and closing of eyelids. This universe such a huge form, even the present day scientists are slowly beginning to understand the vastness and components of the universe now; the ancient Hindu sages had understood this universal vastness very many years ago.
In mantrasastra, Bhuvanesvari, forms the bija (seed) ‘Hrim”. This bija contains all the fourteen worlds in this universe; worshipping Bhuvanesvari through this bija mantra is worshipping the Divine Mother directly.
The Divine Mother is the leader of Bhuvanas. Waking, dreaming and deep sleeping are the three sufferings for the mankind; they are the Bhuvanas for the soul. The Divine Mother is ruling in all three stages of for the embodied souls.
For example, a person steps into a house; there are nobody inside; but the kitchen cooking fire is on; there is light burning in puja room; there is a garland over a deity. From these, he is able to guess that someone is living in the house. In a similar way, this universe is functioning systematically. Each human gets reward based on his karma. The Divine Mother is running and ruling the universe without any variation.
Bhuvana is also water. So the Divine Mother is the protector of land and the oceans.
Tripurasiddhanata recounts how the Divine Mother gave the
blessings to a guru known as Bhuvananandanatha; due to that She came to be known
and called as Bhuvanesvari.
