Susheela was given by her parents during our marriage. When she rearranged her vessels, it was decided to donate this lamp to our Shiva temple.
Susheela lighted it first time during a Karthigai. Now in our absence, they light it up for every Karthigai in Athangudi Shiva temple. First time we were charged Rs 600 for the oil used to lamp this light.
It is all Susheela 's contribution all along the way ever since we started this annadhanam for about !00 people. Lord Maruga's grace.
First the idea came from me for sponsoring this monthly Karthigai function Athangudi Shiva temple. No body advised me to do it. Some astrological reasoning was used by me. My family people did not know the reason, except that I wanted it.
