My Silver story

My silver story:

Back in 1970s and 1980s I was handling Product Engineering job in General Electric USA Housewares plant in Jurong Singapore. We were supply assemblies to our plant in Allentown town , Pennsylvania state, USA. We have been using considerable amount of silver in each sub assembly we were building for our USA plant. In 1980, average silver price was ,USD 5 per tr.oz. Hunt brothers in USA using borrowed funds cornered the global silver all inventories. The silver price shoot up to 50 USD per tr.oz in very short time. As the Product Engineer responsible, I was tasked to reduce the silver usage in my product line assemblies. That 1980 was a hectic year for me to make reduced silver samples, put them through at least 10000 cycles switch tastings. Submit report to my USA plant Engineers, who have to convince the USA safety board underwriters lab permissions for lower silver contact sizes. On their approvals make drawing changes and implemented in production in Singapore plant the reduced silver contacts. Using a base of 10 USD per tr.oz, we had saved USD 300,000 that and in future years. I was judged the top plant contributor of design and planning changes that 1980 in Singapore plant . Since then my association with Silver had been there until last Friday when it hit USD 64.65 per tr.oz. after price drop it settled in USD 61.92 last Friday night in New York trading. After some profit taking, silver has good potential to go above USD 100 per tr.oz in mid 2026. Some claim it can go much higher 200 and above due short supply of silver conditions. Come January 3926, China is banning export of silver. Industrial use of silver is still exploding. Worth following up silver movement. Commercial astrological linkage is combination of Venus and Mars by Jupiter aspect.

Good luck,
